Announcements

Congratulations-  We would like to welcome Jacqueline Rae Enrietta to our church family.  She was born on Monday, August 23rd at 9:55 a.m.  She weighed in at 7.5lbs and is 20.5 inches long!  Congrats to Nick, Daniel, and David Enrietta on their new addition to the church family.

One Call Now-  All One Call notifications need to be passed onto Janet Stieren.  These will include hospital stays, prayer requests, etc.  Janet's phone number is 217-227-3577 or 217-825-7664.

Food Pantry Drive-  Just a reminder that we have a box out front in the foyer for the local food pantry.  We are collecting canned goods, and other non-perishable items that we can pass onto the food pantry so that they may find a place in those homes that need the help the most.

Guest Speaker-  Larry Brandon will be with us the next couple of weeks sharing the message of hope that comes only through God's word.  Larry is in charge of Pastoral Care for the Christian Homes located in Central Illinois.

Board Meeting-  The next Board Meeting will meet on Sunday, September 12th at 7:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

Adult Bible Study- We are needing someone who will be willing to lead the adult bible study this fall. If you have a desire to lead the weekly bible study, please see Dave Stieren.

Coat and Blanket Drive-A box will be placed in the foyer for donations. There is a special need for new or good used blankets.

Noodle Day - We will be making the noodles for the Turkey Supper on Saturday, Oct 2 beginning at 8:30 AM  We need everyone's help.  All supplies will be furnished and we should be done by noon. 

Ladies Meeting - The ladies will meet on Tuesday, Sept 7 at 7:00 PM to finalize the program and directory book for the coming year.  Please see Janet before Tuesday if you know of any changes that need to be made in the book.
